A shared 11+ entrance exam used by 8 grammar schools, administered by CSSE (Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex), testing English, Mathematics. Two papers: English and Mathematics. Standardised composite score, max ~418. Westcliff High School for Boys is a selective academy grammar school. Admission at age 11 is determined through a selection procedure administered by the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE). In-Year Entrance Tests are held on Monday 3 November 2025, Monday 23 February 2026, and Friday 3 July 2026. The school provides free online learning and 11+ exam preparation through Atom Learning for students eligible for Pupil Premium. The school has 200 places in the Lower Sixth for September 2026.
