This school uses its own 11+ entrance test, testing English, Mathematics. Two-stage test procedure: Stage One tests consist of English and Maths questions that are marked by computer. Stage Two tests are written tests in English and Maths requiring written answers. School runs its own two-stage selection test with Stage One and Stage Two tests in English and Maths. Up to 10% of places awarded to boys who demonstrate aptitude in Sport (5%) or Music (5%). School has a co-educational Sixth Form with approximately 120 new students admitted each year, about 80 of which are expected to be girls.
