A shared 11+ entrance exam used by 7 grammar schools, testing English, Mathematics, Reasoning. Each school runs its own test. No common consortium exam. Grammar school founded in 1908. Works with Plymouth High School for Girls using same exam papers on same days. Allocations made based on first 278 students who have put a grammar school as first or second choice. Students can sit 11+ examinations at either grammar school and apply to either/both. No pass mark - allocations based on ranking of top 278 students.
